Anne E. Mooney, 88, of Syracuse, passed away Friday at St. Joseph’s Hospital after a short illness. A life resident of the Syracuse area, Anne was an elementary school teacher for over 30 years at Edward Smith and Pere LeMoyne Schools. Predeceased by her parents, Mildred and Donald Mooney; sister, Alice Mooney; and brother, Don Mooney.
Anne is survived by two sisters, Marian Crinnin and Janet Coria; one brother, Edward Mooney of St. Petersburg, FL; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday 8:30 a.m. at FARONE & SON FUNERAL HOME and 9:00 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated.
Burial will follow in St. Agnes Cemetery.
Calling hours will be held on Monday from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home, 1500 Park Street.
