Bridget M. Brooks

Bridget M. Brooks, of Syracuse, passed away Saturday at St. Joseph’s Hospital. A life resident of Syracuse, she attended college in Atlanta, Georgia and also Syracuse University. Bridget was a former employee for NY Telephone Co., Onondaga Civic Center, and The Federal Building. Bridget was a past member of the Choir at Hopps Memorial Church. She was also a High School National Honors Society member at Fowler High School.

Bridget is survived by her parents, Avery and Catherine Johnson Brooks of Syracuse; sister, Pamela G. Hardy of NYC; brothers, Avery Leon Brooks, Jr. and Tim (AnnMarie) Brooks, both of Syracuse, and Jerome (Jerry) E. Brooks of Dallas, TX; nephews, Avery Louis Brooks of Syracuse and Casden (CJ) Brooks of TX; niece, Alexandra Catherine Brooks; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Bridget will be missed because of her cheerful, gentle, and kind-hearted nature. She always made sure to call her family daily to keep in contact.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday 10:30 a.m. at FARONE & SON FUNERAL HOME. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery. Calling hour will be Saturday 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home, 1500 Park Street, Syracuse.
