

Carmela “Millie” Guradino, 94, of Syracuse, passed away Wednesday at her home. A life resident of Syracuse, Millie retired from Regency Towers at the age of 88 after 18 years of service. Millie volunteered at Eastwood Heights at the front desk, was a member of the Trinity Senior Group and she also participated in the activities at Eastwood Peace, Inc. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph M. Guardino in 1985; sisters, Lee Ullmark and Mary Vespa; brothers, Frances, Robert, and Gabriel Esposito.
Survivors include one daughter, Margaret Guardino of Syracuse; sisters, Rosemary Menapace of Fayetteville, Virginia Sauter of PA, Rita Lenhardt of Syracuse, and Patricia (Daniel) Christensen of East Syracuse; brother, Richard (Kathleen) Esposito of Baldwinsville; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday 1 p.m. at FARONE & SON FUNERAL HOME. Entombment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery Mausoleum. Calling hours will be held on Monday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the funeral home, 1500 Park Street, Syracuse.
