Edward "Frank" E. Green

Mr. Edward E. "Frank" Green, 59 years of age, departed this life on Friday, February 17, 2012 at Upstate University Hospital at Community General after a brief illness. He was a native of Metter, Georgia and a resident of Syracuse, New York for forty-five years. Frank attended the Syracuse City Public Schools. He enjoyed fishing, cooking out, playing checkers, watching horror movies, and spending time with his family.

Frank was predeceased by his wife, Lucille Green, his parents, Otis Sr. and Annie Lou Green, two brothers, Clarence and Bill.

He leaves to mourn his passing and cherish his memory, his companion, Susie Calkins, three sons, Edward (Candice) Hemingway, Wayne (Christine) Hemingway, Benjamin (Holly) Hemingway, ten brothers and sisters, Annie Laura (Ernest) Johnson, Rosa Robinson, Queen (Ronnie) Staten, Harvey (Lisa) Green, all of Syracuse, New York, Wilbert (Janice) Green, Paul (Blenda) Green, Otis (Carolyn) Green, William Green, Eula (Willie) Mincey, Lucille (Edward Sr) Payton, of Jacksonville, Florida, nine grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

Services will be conducted on Saturday at noon at Eternal Hope Worship Church, 1507 James Street, Syracuse.

Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery.

Calling hours will be Saturday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the church before the services.
