Eleanor (Adams) Fitzgerald, 82, of Syracuse, passed away Monday at Rosewood Heights Nursing Home. A life resident of Syracuse, she retired from Onondaga County after 15 years and was a communicant of St. Peter Church. She was predeceased by her son, Frank Sindoni.
Eleanor is survived by her loving husband, Richard Fitzgerald of Syracuse; sons, Matthew Sindoni and Daniel Sposato, both of Syracuse; sister, Marie F. Cerio of Syracuse; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 9:15 a.m. at Farone & Son Funeral Home and 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Pompei/St. Peter Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Burial will follow in Assumption Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Monday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home, 1500 Park Street, Syracuse.
