Geoffrey Scott

Geoffrey Scott, 52, of Syracuse, passed away Tuesday at St. Joseph’s Hospital. A life resident of Syracuse, he was a master Carpenter and was a proud member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America Local 277.

He is predeceased by his mother, Lattie Scott; father, Samuel Scott and brothers, Malcolm Scott and Samuel Scott, Jr.

Geoffrey is survived by his two daughters, April Scott of Syracuse and Kenisha (Marco) Scott-Burke of Clarksville, TN; three sisters, Diane Jasper of Vestal, NY, Sharon L. Scott of East Syracuse and Beverly Scott of Orange, CA; two brothers, Harold Askia and Clarence (Billy) Scott both of Syracuse and eight grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews and cousins and loving companion, Victoria Johnson.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, 1 p.m. at FARONE & SON FUNERAL HOME.

Burial will be private.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the funeral home, 1500 Park Street, Syracuse.
