James F. Cleeton

James Cleeton, 80, of Syracuse, passed away Thursday at his home with his family by his side. James resided in Syracuse most of his life and obtained an Associate’s Degree from CCBI in 1977. A Master Sergeant for the National Guard where he served as an Air Tech for over 30 years until his retirement in 1986. Predeceased by his wife, Katherine.

James is survived by his daughter, Judy (Charles) Pierce of Liverpool; son, Lawrence (Mary) Cleeton of Baldwinsville; sisters, Cathy Rinkel of MI and Ethel Cleeton of Baldwinsville; brothers, Walter Cleeton of Syracuse and Al Cleeton of Spain; two granddaughters Bridget and Meghan and five grand dogs as well as several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday 11 a.m. at FARONE & SON FUNERAL HOME.

Burial will follow in White Chapel Cemetery.

Calling hours will be held Monday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home, 1500 Park Street.
