Jane M. Smith, 69, of Syracuse passed away Tuesday at University Hospital. Born in Huntsville, AL she resided in Syracuse for 40 years. Jane retired from Syracuse University where she worked for 26 years. Jane is survived by her children, Sherbert Smith, Tyrone (Anita) Smith, Kathy (Wil) Lobban, Sharon Smith and Satonya (Patrick) Starling; brothers, Henry, James, Leonard and Burgess Ewing; 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, 12 p.m. at Living Waters C.O.G.I.C. An hour of calling will be held prior to the service from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the church, 121 Huron Street, Syracuse. Burial will be in Valley Cemetery.
