Joseph Charles Edward West, 70, passed away Wednesday at Upstate Hospital. Born in Haines City, Florida, he most recently resided in Syracuse, NY. In 1985, Joseph retired from Crucible Steel after 23 years of service. Predeceased by his mother, Lillian B. Jones and his brother, Alonzo Jones, Jr.
Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Barbara J. West; daughters, Shirley, Felicia, and Releitta; sons, Dwayne, Jonathan, Johnny, Clifford, Joseph, and Michael; sisters, Bessie and Marva; 18 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services: Tuesday 12 p.m. at Living Waters Church.
Burial in Onondaga Valley Cemetery.
