Kathleen S. O'leary

Kathleen Scholiadis O’Leary, 67, of Mattydale, passed away Friday at St. Joseph’s Hospital. She was a life resident of Syracuse and was a member of St. Sophia’s Greek Orthodox Church. Kathleen was a graduate of Vocational High School and Powleson Business School. Mrs. O’Leary worked at Julius Resnick Pocketbook Factory for many years and Kmart. Predeceased by her parents, Voris and Joy Scholiadis; sisters, Artemis Boucounis and Emily Togias.

Kathleen is survived by her husband of 39 years, Andrew O’Leary; sister, Helen Pollastro of Syracuse; godchildren, Andrew (Beverly) Boucounis of Manlius, Stephen Pollastro of Syracuse and Lori (Gary) Steiner of Cleveland, NY; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held Saturday 10 a.m. at St. Sophia’s Greek Orthodox Church.

Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery.

Calling hours will be held Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Farone & Son Funeral Home, 1500 Park St; Trisagion Service will be held at 6 p.m.
