Katie Flemmings

Katie Flemmings, 72, of Syracuse, passed away Monday at her home surrounded by her family as she went home to be with the Lord. Born in Plain, Georgia, she resided in Syracuse for over 30 years. Katie was a member of Greater New Testament Missionary Baptist Church.

Survivors: Her longtime friend, Johnnie Trice; daughters, Melissa Donaldson of Syracuse and Carla Flemming of Atlanta, GA; sons, John Henry Flemming of GA, Larry D. Flemming of Camillus, and Robert Carter of Atlanta, GA; sisters, Susan Ramierz of Philippines and Ruby Hill of Syracuse; brother, Re Willie Weaver of Syracuse; maternal grandmother, Sally (Claude) Ramierz; 22 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services: Saturday 10:30 A.M. at Greater New Testament Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery. Calling hour: Saturday 9:30-10:30 A.M. at the church, 1121 S. Salina Street, Syracuse.
