I met  L.C. when I was 15 at Sports-o-Rama and I will never forget what a loving caring man he was to all the kids at the rink. He later workered for me and he was the most gracious man I ever new. Everyone he touched was blessed to know him. I beleive he helped many kids stay on the right path. I know God has a special place for him in heaven. Well done L.C., you will not be forgotten!!

God Bless.I worked with and for L.C. at S.U. and I was very fortunate to know him.Each time I speak of someone I admired and had the pleasure to work for,his name and one other are on my list of people.He was a fine man and a just man and I'm sure God has a special place in heaven for him.

LC will always be remembered for his kind words and gentle smile. I am honored to have known and worked with this gentleman of gentlemen. Peace be with you brother and with your family.

L.C. was a grand guy. Always a smile, always a delight to see and speak with. I don't think he had a mean body in his body. He was an exemplary deputy sheriff and a delight to work with. A fine, humble, God fearing man. No doubt, he will be standing at attention in front of our Lord. My condolences to his family.

LC-The most gentle, kind spirit of a man I've had the pleasure to know and work with. When asked, What does the LC stand for? He'd say; "L.C., that's my name." But on this day I believe JESUS has called him by name; "My L.oving C.hild."

I worked the 3-11 shift with LC at the OCSD for many years.  He was a faithful friend and dependable  worker.  My sister to this day remembers him through my comments about him.  He will be remembered in my thoughts and prayers.  My deepest sympathy to his family.

I enjoyed working with L.C. for many years on the Sheriff's Dept.  He was a kind person with great judgement and insight.  Not only was he a terrific worker but a very good friend while we worked together.  My sister to this day remembers my good comments about him.  He will be in my thoughts and prayers.

I first met L.C. in 1979. In all the years I knew him I never heard him speak a bad word about another. In his 30+ years with the Sheriff's Office he not once called into work sick...that alone speaks volumes about this man. He was dedicated to the people he swore to protect and took his oath to heart. RIP brother, your watch is over.

LC Moore was a great man and a pleasure to work with.  He will be greatly missed. Rest in Peace my friend.

I first met LC when we worked with the Syracuse University Police in 1972. Then again with the Onondaga County Sheriff's Dept., Jail Division, where we worked for over 30 years. If there was a man destained to sit a the right of the Father in Heaven, it is LC Moore.
To the family goes my heart felt prayers especially during this time of the birth of Christ.
"One is never gone, whose remembered"
LC will be remembered by many and for ions to come.

It was a pleasure working with L.C. in the Criminal Courts Building.  Every staff member knew him and looked forward to seeing him everyday.  Thank you Carolyn for making sure he got home safe after work.  May you rest in peace L.C.

I met L.C. when I was a brand new MP Private in the Army Reserves in 1977.  I never met a harder working man in my entire life.  He always had words of encouragement for me and I have spent the last 30+ years in Law Enforcement because of those words.  It truly saddens me to hear that he has passed.  My condolences to his family.  Rest in Peace L. C.

I worked with L.C. at the Sheriff's Department for many years.  I absolutely loved his stories about growing up. He had a great sense of humor and I am saddened to hear that he has passed. Your family is in my prayers. RIP LC

My Uncle L.C. was a great man who will be missed dearly.  He served others his whole life and had tremendous pride in his work.

I have many fond memories of LC.  He was a true gentleman.  I had the pleasure of working with him for a number of years in the OCSD.  He will be missed by many, but fondly remembered by all who knew him.

L.C. was one of best men I have ever worked with, in fact he was one of the best person's I have known in or out of the job. Honest, friendly and made the room light up when he was present. I knew Sgt. Moore as the MP in the 1209th Army Reserve unit from 1964-1970.  He was liked by all and always had a smile and a good word for everyone, and that continued years later when I ran into him a couple of times.  My condolences to those who loved him.

My Brother L C Moore, to your family, as a young man it was a joy to see, know and learn to love and respect such a proud man in uniform, As a former City of Syracuse Police Officer, it was a pleasure working side by side, seeing him during jail visits, in the courts, Loved and respected by all. He will be missed, I am so sorry for your lost, and the lost to the Syracuse community. My prayers are with you, and may God forever kep you all.
