

Mary Mandolfo Verrillo, 90, of Syracuse, passed away peacefully Tuesday at James Square Health & Rehabilitation Center with her family by her side. A life resident of Syracuse, she retired from Carhart Photo Company. Mary’s cooking and baking was legendary and her greatest love was her faith and family. She was predeceased by her husband, Jerome Verrillo in 1987.
Survivors include her sons, Gerry (Terry) Verrillo of Lighthouse Point, FL and Angelo (Elizabeth) Verrillo of North Syracuse, NY; seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Linda Phinney of Syracuse; nephew, August (Dolores) Forgensi of Syracuse.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday 10:30 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Church, 406 Court Street, Syracuse. Burial will follow in Assumption Cemetery. There will be no calling hours.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to James Square Health & Rehabilitation Center Resident Fund, 918 James Street, Syracuse, NY 13203.
