Robert Hope Lumsden, 60, of Syracuse passed away peacefully Saturday at the VA Medical Center. Mr. Lumsden was a dedicated marine who served in Vietnam also serving in the National Guard. He was a member of the Leather Necks of New York, known to them as Dancer.
Robert is survived by his mother, Anna Heller; daughter, Beth May Marie Lumsden; son, Jason Dudzinski; brothers, Jimmy, Donald and Greg and sister, Leslie.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 11 a.m. at FARONE & SON FUNERAL HOME.
One hour of calling will be held prior to the service from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home, 1500 Park Street.
Burial will be in the Veteran’s Cemetery.
To Roberts Friends and daughter, he is known as a loving and giving man and we will miss him dearly.
