Theresa M. Callahan

Theresa “Terri” M. (Shiko) Callahan, 56, of Verona Beach, passed away Tuesday at her home with her family by her side. A devout catholic, she was a communicant of St. Vincent DePaul Church. Predeceased by her father, Elmer Shiko in 2009 and her twin infant daughters, Kristen Marie and Kimberly Ann.

Theresa is survived by her loving husband of 39 years, Tom Callahan; daughter, Jessica (David “Gunner”) Donaldson of Blossvale, NY; her son, Christopher Callahan of Duluth, Georgia; step-daughter, Tammy Callahan of East Syracuse; her mother, Frances Shiko of Syracuse; sisters, Rosemary Brown of Liverpool, Linda Viggiano of Syracuse, and Sue (George) Armstrong of Mint Hill, NC; one brother, Donald (Carole) Shiko of Suwanee, Georgia; five grandchildren, Jacklyn, Brandon, Joshua, Eric, and Sophia Donaldson; two step-grandchildren, Brett Callahan and Christopher Centrone.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday 9:15 a.m. at FARONE & SON FUNERAL HOME and 10 a.m. at St. Vincent DePaul Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated.

Calling hours will be held on Friday from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home, 1500 Park Street, Syracuse.
