Violet Pace

Violet Pace, 95, of Syracuse passed away Friday at James Square. She was a life resident of Syracuse and was a communicant of Our Lady of Pompei Church. Violet retired from Union Labor Life Insurance Co. where she worked as a secretary/office manager for many years.

She was predeceased by her son, Thomas A. Grenga, parents, Antonio and Josephine Pace, brothers, Ralph V. Pace and Vincent N. Pace.

Surviving are her nieces, Patricia P. Campbell and Barbara P. Bell of Augusta, GA; nephew, Vincent A. Pace of Athens, AL; seven great nieces, two great-nephews and many lifelong friends in Syracuse.

A viewing will be held Tuesday from 9:30 to 10:15 a.m. at Our Lady of Pompei/St. Peter Church, with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10:30 in the church, 301 Ash St., Syracuse. Entombment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. Pirro & Sons Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
