

Alicia V. Villarreal passed away on Friday, September 13, 2013, at the age of 84. She was born in Taft, Texas, to Felipe and Cecilia Velasquez on June 22, 1929, and lived in the Taft area all her life. Alicia was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America and Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Taft. She will always be remembered as a loving daughter, wife, mother and grandmother.
Alicia is survived by her loving husband of sixty one years, Dionicio Villarreal; children, Eddie Villarreal, Valde Villarreal and Rosie Boylen; sister, Manuela (Samuel) Luna; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
A Rosary will be recited on Friday, September 20, 2013, at 1:00 p.m. at Colonial Funeral Home Chapel, Taft. A Memorial Service will follow the Rosary at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, September 20th at Colonial Funeral Home Chapel.
The family would like to thank Odyssey Hospice for their support and care of Alicia and to all their friends and family for their prayers.
