Olga Galindo

Olga R. Galindo passed away on Thursday, June 6, 2013 at the age of 77. She was born October 9, 1935, in Taft, Texas, to Jesus and Manuela Martinez Rios. Olga was a very compassionate and fun loving person. She looked for the humor in life and was a joy to be around. Olga was very family oriented and especially liked playing bingo.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jesus and Manuela Rios.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her beloved husband, Aldolfo Galindo; children: Sylvia (George) Cruz, Aldolfo Galindo, Jr., Oscar Galindo and Sonia (Rogelio) Ortiz; sisters, Oralia Weigt and Gloria Pena; grandchildren: Julie, Michelle (John), Nelda (Zach), Rogelio, Jr. (Adriane), Valene, Timothy, Mandissa (Alfredo), Eli and Abigail; great-grandchildren: Adam, Lilliandra, Stephen, Bethany, Selah and Finnigan.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 9, 2013, from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. at Colonial Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, June 10, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Taft. Burial will follow the service at Taft Memorial Park.

The family wishes to extend a special thanks to Amber and Rosa “Our Caretaker Angels” and also to James for always being there.
