Dear Raymond, Lucy and Terry,  I was so sorry to hear about Tia Cuca.  She was such a beautiful woman, so loving and caring.  I have wonderful memories of her and our visits to Taft.  My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.  Love, Delia Acuna

Raymond and Tina, your mother was a unique person.  She was full of life and had a great sense of humor.  I remember many times eating with her at the dinner table and talking with her. She had a good mind and a sharp wit.  She would often make humorous remarks that would have everyone laughing.  She was a great example of a good mother, wife, and friend.  She was always a great example and I never heard her complain about her health situation.  She never complained about the pain or any of the other discomforts she had to endure and she was a great example in how a person should live.

I always admired how much you both sacrificed for your mom.  You were great caretakers and always made sure that she was comfortable.  You love, care, and kindness was evident to all that knew you both and those that knew your mom.  Thank you for the many countless hours you devoted to your mom.  You alway made sure that she was well cared for and when ever we visited, which was several times a month, your mom was always in great spirits and happy.  I am sure she was that way because of the love and care you both showered down upon her.

We know that our heavenly Father is very concerned for your mom and all she has gone through.  He will take care of her, so do not sorrow, as her race is over.

We count it an honor to have known your mom and to have shared this life with her, you are all in our prayers.

I will truly miss Aunt Cuca.  I will always treasure the memories of my summer vacations in Texas.  Staying at your house and waking to the smells of breakfast being made by Aunt Cuca.  She always had delicious eggs, bacon, tortillas and sweet breads from the corner bakery.  Your family is in my thoughts and prayers.

We are very sorry for your loss.  We both enjoyed visiting and getting to know your mother at the Feast this year.  She was very pleasant most of the time, although she was not feeling well.
