Ada Marie Hamilton was born on October 12, 1951 in Tahlequah, OK, the daughter of Ellis and Jo Martha (Hair) Eaton-Vance. She grew up in Tahlequah, graduating from Sequoyah High School and later attended Connors State College in Warner. Her field of study was early childhood development and education. She worked for Go Ye Village Retirement Inc. for 37 years and built many long lasting friendships with co-workers and residents.
She loved and adored her family especially her grandsons. She was a devoted “Nanny” and loved taking them out to eat and enjoyed going to the movies. They held a special place in her heart. She enjoyed spending time with her best friends Penny, Annette and Margaret having girl’s night; they always made her smile, having dinner dates with her close friends Tanya and Brad, listening to music like Marvin Gaye and the Beatles, and hanging out with friends at the casino. She loved curling up to watch a good crime drama and hallmark Movies. There was nothing she liked more than having family dinners, getting all together, and having them share about life, and their day. She had a smile that made you feel like you had known her all your life. Marie passed away at the age of 71 on Thursday, November 17th with her family by her side. She will be greatly missed.
