Alisha Girdner

Tahlequah, OK- Funeral services for Alisha Girdner will be held on Friday, September 3, 2010 at 10:00 AM at the Cornerstone Fellowship Church with Youth Pastor Rocky Dickinson officiating. Interment will follow at the Caney Cemetery. Visitation for Alisha will be held on Thursday, September 2, 2010 from 10:00 AM until 8:00 PM at the Reed~Culver Chapel. Services have been entrusted to Reed~Culver Funeral Home of Tahlequah.

Serving as pallbearers for Alisha are Tim Peevy, Ethan McElhaney, Billy Bickford, Thomas Girdner, Arlie Girdner II, and Paul Colburn.

Alisha Girdner was born on August 15, 1995 in Tahlequah, OK one of twin daughters to Arlie and Sarah (Cates) Girdner. She attended school at Tahlequah High School and was a Sophomore. Alisha was a loving and caring person. She loved spending any time she could caring for babies, and had hoped to be a pediatrician someday in her future. She loved to talk and text with her friends and relax while watching Sponge Bob and Phineus and Ferb. She enjoyed the time she spent with her family and was happy to tag along with her Dad on a road trip. She was blessed with a special sense of humor and was a friend to all who met her. Alisha received her angel’s wings on August 26, 2010 at the age of fifteen years and eleven days. She will missed by so many, and always be in our hearts, and forever fifteen.

Alisha is preceded in death by her Grandma Patsy Cates, Grandpa E.C. Cates, Uncle Harvey Butler, Grandpa Garlin Girdner, Uncle Admiral Girdner, Uncle J.J. Bickford and Aunt Lenora Bickford.

Those left to cherish Alisha’s memory include her parents of the home, Arlie and Sarah Girdner. Her brothers and sisters include, Arlie Girdner II and wife April of Muskogee, OK, Trixie Colburn and husband Paul of Tahlequah, OK, Tim Peevy and fiancé Sarah Don Sisco of Tahlequah, OK, Thomas Girdner of the home, twin sister Holli of the home, Jennifer Bickford of the home, Billy Bickford of the home, Riley Peevy of the home, and Hayden Peevy of the home. She also leaves Grandma Mary Davidson of Tahlequah, Uncle Joe Johnson of CA as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews and more friends than you could count.
