Alyssia Marie Jae Carey was born January 9, 1992 in Tahlequah, OK, raised by her Gran Roberta Carey during early years, the cherished daughter of Beverly Jean Carey. She was a lifelong member of the Tahlequah area and grew up running the countryside with her cousins. Alyssia was blessed with a son, Kyndryk. He was her pride and joy and she was his biggest fan; cheering him on at football games and in life. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and scratch-offs with her granny when relaxing at home. She kept the roads busy, driving around to visit friends and was always up for a road trip. She had an eye for fashion and loved the opportunity to get dress up in her favorite pink ensemble, doing her nails and having her hair so-so. Her love for clothes was one thing shared between her and her son. Many of memories were made during their shopping trips together. She was creative and would often escape with her mother, Beverly, to the craft shack and work on tumblers. She was her Granny Roberta’s first grandchild and formed a special bond throughout her life. They looked forward to time together catching up on gossip. Alyssia was quite the story teller and had a way of lighting up a room with her presence. If you met her once, she was your friend for life. She was fiercely loyal and would give the shirt off her back. She had the biggest heart and would give freely to those around her. She often carried extra blankets in her car to give out to the homeless she found in need. If one of her friends called, she was there, no questions asked. On Monday, July 8, 2024 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, this gracious and caring soul passed from this life far too soon at the age of 32 years old. The heartprints she left behind will forever be remembered by the many lives she touched.
Those left to cherish her memory include one son, Kyndryk Carey, her mother, Beverly Jean Carey and Granny Roberta Carey of the home, Uncle Miller and Aunt Carol Ballard of Tahlequah, OK, Uncle Rodney Carey of Tahlequah, OK and Aunt Tabitha Church of Burnt Cabin, Oklahoma, many cousins including one special cousin, Cynthia Skipper of Tahlequah, OK and numerous friends that meant the world to her.
