Angela Michelle (Grass) Fisher was born on January 9th, 1971, in Claremore, OK, the daughter of Daniel and Sharon (Welch) Grass. She grew up with two brothers and two sisters, Samantha, Sherrie, Kevin and Robert. The family lived in the Hulbert and Lost City communities.
As a young girl, Angela loved to play sports, especially softball and basketball. Upon graduating from high school, she decided to become a homemaker, and raise her family. She would later attend college classes at TCC in Tulsa, OK and worked at Warehouse Production for Standard Distribution. Over the course of her working career, she also worked at Walmart and Macy’s. She enjoyed a wide variety of hobbies but really liked any time spent with her husband, children, grandchildren, and other family members. She loved taking the children of the family and teaching them the ropes of a day at the creek, especially Clear Creek, where they could go swimming, and chase wildlife and just enjoy the day. Once home in her own kitchen, she was whipping up goulash, spaghetti, and a variety of recipes with the recipes placed safely in her head. While her kids were in high school, their friends knew they could always go and get good sound advice and a home cooked meal from “Mom” Angela, her door was always open.
Angela possessed a bold and fiery personality and had the school spirit that she had when she was in school, always yelling for the home team. She was proud of her Cherokee Heritage and took the family to the Heritage Center to understand their ancestors and how they had come so far. On December 28th, 2014, she married the love of her life and her best friend, William Carlton Fisher in Tulsa, OK. In him, her happiness was complete. Just like so many things in life, Angela had her fair share of trials, as when her parents died. She was diagnosed with cancer and fought a hard fight, giving it all she had. Her belief in God carried her through to the very end. The Lord called this hard-working wife, mother, and grandmother home from her many labors on August 16th, 2025, in Kellyville, OK, surrounded by those that loved her most. She was 54 years old and will never be replaced.
Angela is preceded in death by her grandparents, Luke and Nora (Keener) Welch and Isaac and Ana Belle (Smith) Grass. She also joins her mother and father, Daniel and Sharon Grass, one sister, Sherrie Boyd and two uncles, Kenneth Welch and Gary Welch.
Those left to celebrate her memory include her beloved husband William of the home in Kellyville, OK and her children, Kia Jumper of Kellyville, OK and Eli Baldridge and wife Chelsie of Tahlequah, OK. Her brothers and sisters include Samantha Partain and Blake of Tulsa, OK, and Robert Grass of Oklahoma. She will live on in her grandchildren, Remus Baldridge of Tulsa, OK, Daniel Jumper of Inola, OK, Lilian Baldridge of Tahlequah, Blake Fisher of Kellyville and Elena Baldridge of Tahlequah, OK. She also leaves a cousin, Shawna Justice as well as her best friend, Mariah Greenwood, many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends and loved ones.
Graveside services for Angela Michelle (Grass) Fisher will be conducted on Friday, August 29th, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Keener Cemetery with Pastor Sam Keener officiating. Her family will receive visitors on Thursday. August 28th, 2025 beginning at 2:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Reed-Culver Funeral Chapel. She will be laid to rest with her family at Keener Cemetery.
