Tahlequah, OK – Annie Lee Rice age 86, passed from this life on Saturday, October 5, 2013 in Tahlequah, OK. She was born October 26, 1926 in Muskogee, OK to John and Ella (Phillips) Farmer. Annie met Marion Rice and on February 19, 1946 they were blessed to join their lives together, until Marion’s passing on February 22, 1999.

Annie liked to spend time at her favorite fishing hole, gardening with a jaw full of chewing tobacco, or just working on her crafts. She enjoyed attending the Free Will Baptist Church, but more than anything she loved seeing her whole family together. Annie was blessed with a loving husband, four wonderful children and 86 years. She will be greatly missed by all her loved ones.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one son; James Rice, one daughter; Nancy Duncan, two brothers; Lloyd and Lewis Farmer, and two sisters; Viola Moss and Alzie Phillips.

Those left to carry her legacy include one son; Jerry Rice and wife Rose of Ottawa, KS, one daughter; Karen Rose and husband Stanley of Peggs, OK, one sister; Jessie Wilhite, a special niece; Pat Bruner, 12 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren, as well as a host of other family and loved ones.
