Ardith "Dee" Deanne Roberts

Ardith Deanne Warren-Roberts was born on June 12, 1951 in Okmulgee, OK, the daughter of Arch and Betty (Fletcher) Warren. She grew up with five brothers and one sister, Joe, Mary, Allyn, Dallas, Michael and Dallas Jr. She graduated from Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, OK, receiving her Bachelors of Arts. While attending church, she met and would eventually marry her best friend and the love of her life, James David Roberts. They were united in holy matrimony March 7th, 1970 in Norman, OK. Together they reared a family of two sons and one daughter, Kevin, Shannan, and Shauna. Dee was first and foremost a wife, mother, grandmother and Pastor. She adored her family and taking care of them. She did everything with a great deal of love, and kindness. Whenever she had a moment, she was loving on or rocking a grandbaby in her arms, it was what made her truly happy. From their first breath to their first step, grandma was there, cheering them on. There was nothing better than spending time with her sister and best friend, Mary Webb. She loved to travel and had been to 44 of the 50 states in the United States. Most of her free time was spent at Philadelphia Bible Center, alongside her husband, Pastor David Roberts, writing lyrics and composing hymns, praying for those who needed it, and those who didn’t ask, and anything in between. Her smile was constant, her patience unending and her love for all of her church family, without measure. Her health began to fade and the Lord called this good and faithful servant home from her many labors on February 19, 2022, at her home surrounded by the family she loved and treasured. She was 70 years old. No one will ever be able to take her place.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, her Mother and Father, her son, Kevin, and her brothers, Joe Warren and Dallas Warren Jr.

Those left to celebrate her life include her husband of almost 52 years, Pastor David Roberts of the home in Tahlequah. She also leaves her children, Shannan Roberts of Tahlequah and Shauna Williams and husband Christopher of Arlington, WA. She leaves her brothers and sister, Mary Webb and husband Terry of Shawnee, Allyn Warren of Norman, Dallas Warren and wife Bonnie of Oklahoma City, OK, and Michael Warren of Okmulgee, OK. She lives on in her four grandchildren, Blake Roberts of Tahlequah, Tiffany Taylor and husband Casey of Welling, OK, Cole Williams and wife Hannah of Arlington, WA and Trenton Roberts of Keys, OK. She also leaves four great grandchildren, Reese Taylor, Reid Taylor, Scarlett Taylor and Greyson Williams as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends and loved ones.

Funeral services for Ardith Deanne Warren-Roberts, lovingly called Dee by her family and friends, will be held on Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Reed-Culver Funeral Home with Pastor David Roberts officiating. Deanne will be laid to rest at Ft. Gibson National Cemetery at Ft. Gibson, OK at 1:30 pm. Her pallbearers include Shannan Roberts, Cole Williams, Trenton Roberts, Casey Taylor, Blake Roberts, and Christopher Williams. Her honorary pallbearer is Kevin Roberts.

She will have a visitation on Tuesday, February 22, 2022 beginning at 1:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Reed-Culver Funeral Home.
