

Billie Jean Davis-Miller, or “Granny Bill” to her family and friends, was born on April 10th, 1954 in Siloam Springs, AR, the daughter of Clarence Brice and Myrtle Elsie (Foreman) Jackson-Davis. As a young woman of 15 years, she met and fell in love with Phillip Miller. It was while attending the Rose Parade in Eaglewood, CA, they married on November 1st, 1971. They enjoyed many years of happiness and together, raised three daughters and one son. Billie loved taking care of Phillip and her family, they were everything to her. When she was caught up with work, she liked to crochet, go dancing, attend hog fry events, playing cards, sitting on the bank with a fishing pole, or running around town with her best friend, Linda. She could sew, and she was always cooking for her family and friends, and you wouldn’t believe how good her fry bread was! She was spirited and fun, she always made you feel like you were the light in her day. She was very soft hearted and compassionate, and never let the chance go by to let her family and friends know how much she loved them. After her husband and best friend Phillip passed away, Billie devoted her remaining time to her family. Billie passed from this life on November 13th, 2015 in Tulsa, OK, with her family by her side. She was 61 years old. She leaves many happy memories and smiles to those who knew her best.
Billie is preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband, Phillip, one daughter, Christina Miller, one brother, Michael Alan Jackson, as well as several aunts and uncles.
Those left to cherish her memory include her adored children, son Brice Miller and wife Joy of Gentry, AR, Shyla Zennair Miller and companion Angel Cazares of Tahlequah, OK, and Starla Miller-Camp and husband Letabuin Camp, also of Tahlequah, OK. She leaves three brothers and two sisters, Bruce Davis and wife Holly of Oaks, OK, Travis Jackson Jr of Wewoka, OK, and Brian Randall Jackson and wife Lisa of Muskogee, OK, Willadean Crow of Tahlequah, OK and Paula Jean Jackson of Shawnee, OK. Her love of life lives on in her grandchildren, Cyndul Raquel Miller and companion Darnell Sayles of Tulsa, OK, Michael Anthony Rodriguez of Tahlequah, Shadoe Ryder Miller of Tahlequah, Savannah Denise Miller of Wagoner, Payton Andrew Miller of Salina, David Aaron Krewz Miller of Tahlequah, Courtney Eastep of Ft. Smith, AR, and Ashley Jones and her husband James of Decatur, AR. Her great grandchildren include Daylen Clifton Sayles, Zane Jones, Jaxson Jones, Devon Eugene Sayles, and Emma Lynn, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends and loved ones.
