Bradford Lee Girdner was born on July 24, 1965 in Fresno, California. He was the son of Nevell and Nora Girdner. Growing up in the Welling area, he spent his childhood hunting with his favorite dog, riding bikes with his buddies and getting into mischief with his brothers.
As a young man, Brad developed a passion for fast cars, drag racing, watching his brother race horses, and enjoyed family gatherings, especially Theresa and Herbie‘s all-nighters. His proudest accomplishment was becoming a father to a son and a daughter. Despite his regrets, he knew they grew into smart, successful, strong adults, and given the chance, he always bet on them.
As he aged, life slowed down and he enjoyed the simple peaceful joys in life like lazy days at the lake, gardening alongside his wife, quiet mornings with his coffee, and evening phone calls with his mom and brother for all the latest family gossip.
He left this world in peace on June 18, 2025 at home knowing how much those closest to him loved him. He will be more than missed and always remembered.
He was preceded in death by his father “Jug” Girdner, brothers “PeeWee”, Steven, and Brenton Girdner and many uncles, aunts and grandparents.
Those left to carry his memory include his wife Karrie Girdner of Welling, OK, son Treil Girdner and his wife Cassie of Cookson, OK, daughter Brittany “Nikki” Girdner of Overland Park, KS, mother Nora Girdner of Welling, OK, brothers Randall Girdner of Welling, OK, Clint Girdner of Welling, OK, Tuffy Girdner and his wife Brandy of Stilwell, OK, Mike Girdner and his wife Levita of Maryetta, OK, Randy Girdner and his wife Tracey of Abu Dhabi, UAE, one sister, Lisa Cole and her husband Glen of Tulsa, OK, stepchildren Allison Smith and Isaac Monks, grandchildren Isabella, Raelee, Kasen, and Stryder, favorite Uncle Tub Girdner, and many more cousins, nieces, nephews.
