Funeral Services for Charles “Danny” “Boone” Daniel Swepston, age 46, Cookson, OK will be held 2:00pm, Monday, October 24, 2016 at Reed Culver Chapel in Tahlequah, OK, with Bro. Charles Young officiating. Pallbearers will be Tony Barker, Tim Davis, Ryan Leslie, Checker Hathcoat, Uriah Cookson, Dylan Buttermore, Andy Hathcoat, Carl Baskin, Damieon Cookson, and David Stanley Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be Donny Cunji O’neal, Ricky Ballard, Simon Ballard, Kevin Jones, Tim Harris, Rick Harris, John Kelley, Buddy Clinton and Jim Harris. A visitation will be held on Friday, October 21, 2016 from 12:00pm to 6:00pm at Reed Culver Funeral Home in Tahlequah, OK.

Danny entered this life on October 12, 1970 in Tahlequah, OK the son of Kenneth Swepston Sr. and Brenda (Ballard) Swepston. He was a welder by trade and always worked hard. No matter how hard he worked he always found the time to enjoy life, and party with his friends. Danny taught himself to play guitar and was quite good at it, playing classic rock and metal. When he wasn’t playing guitar he could be found doing one of his many other hobbies, such as riding dirt bikes, hunting, fishing or tinkering around in the yard planting a garden. Danny was a little bit of an animal lover that liked the company of his cats, but he truly loved his two hound dogs. Anyone that knew him knows he is a practical joker and could do imitations’ of just about anyone, not much was more fun to him than pestering and picking on the kids. Every day to Danny was a new adventure that he couldn’t wait to start, the end of the day however was his favorite because that was supper time and you could guarantee he wasn’t going to miss that. Danny was an amazing man that was taken from us to soon, but his memory will live on in all those that were blessed to know him.

Those that went before him include his parents, one brother; Kendall Swepston, one sister; Latisha Swepston, one sister-in-law, Alisha White-Swepston and special friend, Justin Hall.

Left to remember his legacy include one son; Andrew Swepston of Tahelquah, three brothers; Kenneth Swepston Jr. wife Becky of Tahlequah, Kevin Swepston and wife Diane of Cookson, OK and Jonathan Swepston of Cookson, OK, and two sisters; Jackie Swepston of Tahlequah, and Donna O’neal and husband Donny of Cookson, OK, as well as, many nieces and nephews he adored and a host of other family friends and loved ones.
