Chase Christian Riggs was born October 18, 1998 in Tulsa, OK, the son of Gavin Craig Riggs and Anita Lynn (Firestone) Williams-Riggs. He attended Lee Elementary School, Thoreau Demonstration Academy and Edison Preparatory High School. His younger years were spent playing sports from soccer to football. As he joined the workforce, he had an opportunity to become an apprentice for K&K Plumbing in Broken Arrow, working his way up to earn his licensures and certification to become a plumber. His achievement with K&K was one of proudest accomplishments, aside from his family. Chase met his soulmate and love of his life, Sharon. Together they’ve shared over nine years of memories along with their two precious boys, Logan and Adias. They are both old souls and shared an unbreakable bond and their kids were their pride and joy, never failing to put their boys first and foremost. Chase looked forward to hosting family get-togethers and bring everyone over for the holidays. He was a very present and supportive father to his boys and extremely proud of all Logan’s achievements in school. He never missed an opportunity to cheer him on, even if that meant though FaceTime. The two were the best of friends, often go camping on the weekends, frequent fishing trips and out hunting together. He taught him how to ride a bike, skateboard and motorcycle and was there for his first footsteps and helped him build his first snowman. Though Adias was too young to run with the guys, he loved to play outside with dad and big brother. Chase was everyone’s friend and inspiring in the most enduring way, with a “hell yea” or give a thumbs up accompanied by his big smile. Gone far too soon, Chase passed from this life on Sunday, February 16, 2025 at the age of 26 years old. He was welcomed at the gates by his best buddy, Raymond and watching over his loved ones.
Those left to remember him include his mother, Anita Lynn Williams-Riggs of Tahlequah, OK and father, Gavin Craig Riggs of Tulsa, OK. His memory lives on through his wife, Sharon Guffey-Riggs and his two sons, Logan Grant and Adias Riggs of the home in Wagoner, OK. He also leaves his two brothers, Michael Mayes Williams and wife Elizabeth Lucero-Williams of Tulsa, OK and Casey Nicholas Riggs and wife Sarah of Sapulpa, OK, three sisters, Tammy Saunders and husband Kris of Coweta, OK, Nicole DeOnne Green and husband Nathan and Hallie Marie Riggs, both of Tulsa, OK as well as his cherished nieces and nephews, Michael Robert Williams, Kyson, Bella, K-Cole, Kelsey, Adam and Kenny, best friends, Greg and Journey Uzzell and Dillon Pitts as well as many other friends and loved ones too numerous to mention.

“I am honored God chose me to be his mother for 26 years on earth, till the end of time in my heart. He was the best son a mother could ask for. He was always there to do anything that needed done. He was our protector. God took you home to his beautiful paradise. Prepare a spot for us. You are no longer in suffering my beautiful baby boy” – Anita
