

William “Dean” Terrell went to be with the Lord June 10th, 2023, after a courageous battle with cancer surrounded by his loving family. Dean was born February 17th, 1959 at Holloman AFB, New Mexico to Harley and Shirley Terrell. Dean graduated from Alamogordo High School in Alamogordo, New Mexico in 1977, and Bill Willis Technical School in Oklahoma in 1978 with a Heavy Equipment Operator Certification. He married Teresa McDaniel in 1981 and they had one daughter, Chelsea.
Dean spent many years on the rodeo circuit calf roping, bronc riding and bull riding. He worked as a heavy equipment operator and licensed plumber at Polson and Grady and General Hydronics for 20 years. He opened his own construction company, Cherokee Enterprises, in Alamogordo, New Mexico in 2000, where he worked until he was diagnosed with cancer in 2019. Dean loved fishing, hunting and traveling with his family.
Dean was preceded in death by his father and mother Harley Terrell and Shirley Orosco, two brothers Andy Terrell and Terry Sedwick, his grandfather Charlie Terrell, his grandmothers Hazel Terrell and Lorraine Pugh, his step-mother Sandra Terrell and his father-in-law Mike McDaniel.
Dean is survived by his wife, Teresa Terrell, daughter, Chelsea (Gino) Colombari of Panama City, FL, grandson Gabe Colombari of Dyess AFB, TX, granddaughter Natalia Colombari, Panama City, FL, sister Linda (Larry) Guyot of Las Cruces, NM, brother Ben (Sharon) Terrell of Parkhill, OK, step-sister Penny Buckley, Parkhill, OK, step-brothers Richard Sedwick, Parkhill, OK, and Allen Sedwick, Leavenworth, KS, uncle Wayne (Pam) Blanchard, Broken Arrow, OK, mother-in-law Audrey McDaniel, step father-in-law Ray Orosco, brother-in-law Tim (Linda) McDaniel, nieces DeLainie Terrell and Bailey Terrell of OK, Serena (Lucas) Olive of Idaho, Lauren (Dominic) Ray of Tampa, FL, Emelee (Dylan) Oliver of Lubbock, TX and several more nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at Pettit Bay Cemetery on Saturday, June 17th at 10:00 am under the care of Reed-Culver Funeral Home.
