Deborah Dean Davis began her life’s journey on June 26, 1958, in Tahlequah, OK the daughter of John Ballard and Catherine (Jones) Calico. There was never a dull moment in her home as she grew up with her eight siblings.
Deborah or “Debbie” as so many called her graduated high school and went on to college to receive an associate degree. Early on in Debbie‘s career, she served over a decade at Oklahoma Production Center (OPC). She worked her way up into the administration and was well liked and loved by not only her fellow coworkers, but all the patients that OPC took care of. She later transitioned into banking. She served many years at Mabery Bank and worked her way up to the branch manager of the Muskogee location, where she retired. Debbie was a very hard worker always providing for her family and never slowing down. Her family remembers the love she shared through her strong personality, her intense eye contact that said more than words ever could, as well as, her loving touch, being there for her grandkids, and treating her nieces and nephews like they were her own. Debbie had an infectious and loud laugh that would fill a room with joy and truly loved to be around her family and friends. When she wasn’t working or putting a smile on the face of someone else, she liked to relax working in her garden. Debbie was a brave strong person that loved the lord fiercely and enjoyed attending Exciting Southeast Baptist Church in Tahlequah. Her life was a full one that most could only wish to be a part of, but her health began to fail on April 1, 2024, and on February 26, 2025, at the age of 66 years in Tulsa, OK surrounded by her family, the Lord called his good and faithful servant home to her eternal rest. The pure joy she brought to all of those around her will be dearly missed.
