Eileen Jane "Dee Dee" Daniel was born on August 13th, 1946 in Glendive, MT, the daughter of Art and Macey (Beason) Daniel. She grew up in a household with four brothers and four sisters, Frank, Tom, Tracy, Sam, Phylis. Beth, Melody and Shelley. She attended and graduated from school in Montana. She decided on a career where she could help the people that needed her most, and Dee Dee the Social Worker was born. Dee Dee graduated from the University Of Montana with her degree.
First and foremost in her life was the love of her Lord, Jesus Christ. He sustained her, built her courage, and gave her a large heart and even larger smile, and she used these gifts until the day she went to her rest. She was also given her son, Donny, and she was his biggest fan and truest friend. She was so incredibly proud of her daughter-in-law Patty, Donny's wife whom she thought was an impressively hard worker and loving mother who not only helped her own children, but the children of others. She adored her grandchildren, Kody, Alex, Emily, Jay and Marissa, they were the most wonderful people she knew, and everyone of them talented!
There was even extra love for the “Grandpups” , Donnie’s animals. Armed with her morning cup of coffee and the newspaper, there was nothing that Dee Dee couldn’t handle at work. When she wasn’t working, she was volunteering her time working with the basketball team, and attended every event her grandkids participated in. Always up for a little adventure, she tagged along with the family during vacations, taking on Rocky Mountain National Park, and every National Park after that, and at 75 years of age, rode the “Alpine” rollercoaster, demonstrating fortitude and a spirit of adventure that knew no bounds. When she wasn’t working, she was reading Christian Fiction books and nibbling on some sweet concoction or another, her sweet tooth had a mind of its own. She teamed up with Amie Callahan, and they often had plenty of good reading material and thoughts on everything they read.
Eileen taught Pre School at Abundant Life later in life, and her bubbly enthusiasm kept the students eager to learn more from Dee Dee, making lunches at the clinic, and anything else she felt called to do. She would insist you let her help, so much talent and so little time. Her health began to fade, but her smile remained constant, always wanting to make the other person feel secure. She passed from this life on February 15th, 2022 in Tulsa, OK. Eileen was 75 years old. The world is a much better place because her loving kindness was everywhere she went.
Eileen is preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Sam Daniel and one sister, Phyllis House.
Eileens,’ memory is cherished by her son, Donny Daniel and wife Patty of Welling, OK, three brothers, Frank Daniel and wife Therissa of Billings, MT, Tom Daniel and wife Deana of Helena, MT, and Tracy Daniel of Billings, MT along with three sisters, Beth Daniel of Colorado Springs, CO, Melody Daniel of Utah and Shelley Daniel of Washington. Her legacy will live on through her five grandchildren, Kody, Alex, Emily, Jay and Marissa Daniel and very loved, “fat, orange cat”, Willie as well as many other people, helped by her caring, friends and loved ones.
