Frances Mae Teague

Frances Mae Teague was born on November 27, 1927 in Park Hill, Oklahoma the daughter of James and Flossie Marie (McFarland) Leep. Frances grew up and lived in Park Hill area her entire life. She married the love of her life Bill Teague and together they raised their family in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. Frances and Bill spent 31 wonderful years together. Frances became known to her family as “Granny” and she loved taking care of them. She also enjoyed gardening, flowers, flea markets and her annual Yard sale, which everyone who knew her, enjoyed and anticipated every year. Frances Passed away Tuesday January 10, 2012 in Tahlequah she was 84 years old.

Frances is preceded in death by her husband Bill Teague, her mother and father, a daughter Sue Land of Kerny Arizona, three brothers, Jimmy, Johnnie, and Buster Leep, three sisters Pauline Perez, Mollie Carter, and Katie Davis.

Those left to cherish her memory include her two sons Ray and Roy Teague of Tahlequah,OK. Her sisters Noama Godwin and Barbra Jean Pritchett, a brother Joe Leep of Tahlequah, 11 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
