Glynda Gayle Coop Trapp

Tahlequah, OK- Funeral services for Glynda Gayle Trapp will be held on Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Reed-Culver Funeral Home with Henry Farmer and Jim Phillips officiating. Visitation for Glynda will be held Monday, January 21, 2013 from noon till 8:00 PM at Reed-Culver. Interment will be held at Blue Springs Cemetery near Gideon community. Services are under the direction of Reed-Culver.

Pallbearers for Glynda include Mark Presley, Sam McMillan, Steve McMillan, Brian Trapp, Alan Presley, and Eric Trapp II. Honorary pallbearers include Chris Stovall and Jason Mitchusson.

Glynda Gayle Trapp was born August 26, 1939 in Gideon Community, the daughter of Dale Russell Coop and Dorothy Willis Trapp. She married Louis Jacob Trapp September 14th, 1956 in Cherokee County. This union was blessed with one daughter and three sons. Glynda was an active member of the Welling Home Extension Club, and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She acquired her Bachelors degree at NSU and worked on her Masters degree at the University of Arkansas. She liked to spend her spare time quilting, sewing, reading, and researching family genealogy. She loved family reunions, spending time with her children and grandchildren, and listening to Louis play his guitar and sing. She passed from this life on January 18th , 2013 in Tahlequah, OK with her family by her side. She was 73 years old.

She is preceded in death by her parents and one great granddaughter, Phaedra.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Louis of the home. She leaves four children, Denise Stovall and husband Chris of Richland, MO, Conrad Trapp and wife Debbie of Broken Arrow, Robert Trapp of Tahlequah, and Stephen Trapp of Tulsa. Her brothers and sisters include Bob Coop and wife Peggy, Paul Trapp, Eric and Janice Trapp, Sue Presley, Janice and Frank Pineda, Ora Louise Corcoran, Mary Stice and husband Ron, and Loretta and Steve McMillan. Her legacy lives on in her grandchildren, Angelina and John Brown, Jennifer and Jason Mitchusson, Thomas, Devin, Rachael, Will, Sierra, Jacob, Aidan, and Stephen Trapp. Her great grandchildren include Phoebe, Phoenix, Billy, Cayden, Declan, Gage, Liberty, Thea, Daks, Aliyah, and Josephine as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends and loved ones.
