Jesse Lee McQueen was born on October 23, 1997, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and passed away on April 18, 2026, at the age of 28. He leaves behind a lifetime of stories; most of them funny, a few questionable, and all very Jesse.
Jesse had a personality that didn’t need an introduction. Known to many as “Messy Jesse” or “Little Butter Bean,” he was quick with a joke, always ready to push the moment just a little further, and the kind of person who could walk into a room and leave everyone with a story to tell later. He had a way of making people feel like they’d known him forever, and he could make you laugh at the worst possible time, which is exactly what made him unforgettable.
Jesse loved cars, late nights, designer clothes, and going wherever the moment took him. He was the kind of person who could fall asleep anywhere; couch, floor, truck… even a chicken coop, if the story’s told right. For all the ways he embraced life, his heart was always with his kids. Madden and Minnie were everything to him, whether it was a trip to the zoo, a day at the beach, naps, or simply time spent together.
Jesse is survived by his best friend and the mother of his children, Kailey Muskrat; his son, Madden McQueen; and his daughter, Minnie McQueen. He is also survived by his father, Michael Bruce McQueen; his mother, Dusty Spears; his brothers, Alan, Matthew, Stephen, and Alex McQueen; his sister, Jasmine McQueen; his grandparents, Paula and Rex Spears; his aunt, Tara Atwood; his uncle, Chris Spears; his uncle, William Baine; and his dog, Major McQueen, along with a host of family and friends who will carry his stories and his humor with them.
Jesse leaves behind memories that feel bigger than the time he had, and family and friends who will keep his name alive in stories, laughter, and every moment that feels a little too quiet without him.
