John William Fox or John to his many friends, was born on November 21st,1967 in Siloam Springs, AR, the son of John and Thelma (Teague) Fox. He grew up with four brothers and two sisters, Kim, Mark, Jeff, Wade, Jessica and Cody. He attended school at Briggs and then decided to go to work with his dad as a Stone Mason. He enjoyed his job of constructing and creating beautiful home features. He was the proud father of two sons, Joshua and Jacob. He loved spending time on the river, floating, fishing, and just relaxing. You could always find him out and about in the company of his favorite canine companion, Petey, an adorable pit bull that stole his heart and his seat on the couch. That wouldn’t have mattered to John. He was loving, kind, and generous. His time and talents were yours for the asking. He loved his Mama fiercely, and never tired of her company, and he was thrilled any time he heard from Josh and his granddaughters. He loved sending the girls little gifts and waiting anxiously until he heard from them again. He loved curling up with his best girl Linda and watching a little television, especially his favorite OU Football. There was no one in the world that meant more to John than his family. Holidays and weekends spent keeping up with his family were his favorite pass times. A Christian by faith, John attended the Baptist church and read his Bible regularly. He loved life and everyone in it. John fell ill and was called home by his Lord and Savior on October 18th, 2021 in Tahlequah, OK, after reaching the age of 53 years of age. He will be greatly missed.
He has gone on to join his grandparents, Elmer and Mildred Teague, his Dad, John Fox, one brother, Mark Fox and one sister, Kim Fahey.
Those left to celebrate his life include his adored sons, Joshua Fox and wife of Texas, and Jacob Fox also of Texas. He leaves his mother, Thelma Teague Fox of Tahlequah, OK, and his brothers and sisters, Jeff Fox and companion Becky Hurst of Tahlequah, OK, Wade Fox and wife Delina of Warner, OK, Cody Fox of Oklahoma, and Jessica Fox of Tulsa, OK. He lives on in his beloved granddaughters, Adeline Fox and Amelia Fox both of Texas, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of aunts, uncles, and friends too numerous to mention.
