Johnathan Michael Sands

Johnathan Michael Sands was born on July 26th, 1993 in Tahlequah, OK, the son of Tanya (Sands) Moore. He grew up with one brother, Jaxon Moore. Johnathan brought so much joy to everyone that crossed his path in life. He was full of love, for his family, for his teachers, for his church family and all the friends he loved spending time with. He was a man that enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, a ride in Papa’s loud truck, cuddling with Nanny, music, movies, and absolutely every new experience that came his way in life. He adored his teachers that helped him through school and the ones that made his Prom such a special event. When his little brother got into trouble, he would get that grin that let you know siblings truly enjoy that moment of “Gotcha!. He loved his Mom Tanya and Dad Jason and any chance to sit with them and enjoy a laugh or two. A Christina by faith, Johnathan loved going to church at New Mission Baptist Church and blessed all the people with a smile and laugh that spoke of his love of God. The Lord needed him to come shine his light in heaven, so he was taken home on September 14th, 2022 at his home surrounded by those who loved him dearly. He was 29 years old and has left his mark on so many lives, all for the better.

He has gone on to join his grandparents, his aunts, uncles and cousins.

Those left to cherish his memory include his mother and father, Tanya (Sands) Moore and husband Jason of Tahlequah, OK. He leaves one brother, Jaxon Moore as well as many wonderful teachers, friends, church family and so many others that have felt Johnathan’s presence in their lives.

Memorial Services for Johnathan Michael Sands will be conducted on Monday, September 19th, 2022, at 1:00 PM Twin Oaks Baptist Church in Kansas, OK, with Pastor Craig Sands and Pastor Wayne Forrest officiating. Online condolences for Johnathan’s family may be left at www.reedculver.com.
