Kathleen Lydia Mouse-Zuniga

Funeral services for Kathleen Lydia Mouse-Zuniga will be held on Friday, June 3rd, 2016 at 2:00 PM at the Reed-Culver Chapel with brother Ricky Fleming officiating. Her Wake Service will be held on Thursday, June 2nd, 2016 at The Mouse residence in Bunch beginning at 4:00 PM. Interment will take place at Long Prairie Cemetery. Pallbearers include Cody Bearhill, Darrenn Mouse, David Mouse, Daniel Bales, Bobby Adair, David Bluebird Jr, and Franklin Mouse.

Kathleen Lydia Mouse-Zuniga was born on August 9th, 1973 in Tahlequah, OK, the daughter of Franklin D. and Carolina Lydia (Leach) Mouse. She grew up with one brother and four sisters, in the Tahlequah area. She worked as a cook in various places in Tahlequah. She was married to David Zuniga Angeles. She was also a very devoted mother of three daughters and two sons, Ebaristo Mata, Jasper Angeles, Emberly Gonzalez, Jasmine Angeles, and Josephina Colunga. When she wasn’t working, Kathleen loved to spend time outdoors, camping for the weekend, resting in the river, swimming at the creek and especially fishing. She liked to share her time near the water with her family and grandchildren, she adored them. They would listen to music, share a cookout, maybe even catch some fish. She had a wonderful personality and always made you smile! She had a kind and loving heart and went out of her way to help those around her. She enjoyed putting her thoughts to paper, sharing a joke, or doing a little reading. She was a Christian by faith, and held firmly to hand of her Lord and Savior daily. And as she loved life and those she shared her life with, She lived life to the fullest. The Lord called this warm and loving mother, daughter, sister, and grandmother home from her labors on May 30th, 2016 near Cookson, OK. She was 42 years young. Kathleen will so greatly be missed.

She is preceded in death by her father, brother in law and one daughter, Josephina Colunga. And very special friend Jose Felipe Morales.

Those left to cherish her memory include her mother ,Carolina Mouse of Tahlequah, OK, her husband David Zuniga Angeles of the home, her beloved children, Ebaristo Mata , Jasper Angeles and Jasmine Angeles of the home. Emberly Gonzalez of Tahlequah, OK, , and five adored grandchildren, Patricia Mouse, Kyra Mouse, Olivia Jimenez, Carmen Gonzalez, Meco De Jesus Mata. She also leaves her brother and sisters, Benjamin Mouse and Marcella of Bunch, OK, Jennifer Adair and husband Bobby of Tahlequah, OK, Esther Mouse- Fields and Eli of Bunch, OK, Carilla Hernandez and husband Martin of Tahlequah, OK, and Priscilla Mouse and Daniel Bales of Bunch, OK, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends and loved ones.
