Lena Faye "Sandy" Reagan

Lena Faye White Reagan, or Sandy to her friends, was born on February 19th, 1937 in Crowell, TX, the daughter of Houston and Mattie Langford (Polk) White. She grew up in a large household with four brothers and three sisters, Orville, Clifford, Henry, Tom (Blackie), Oleta, GayOla, and Virginia (Jeannie). She graduated from Crowell High School in Crowell in 1955. Shortly thereafter, she married the love of her life, Raymond Warren “Jim” Reagan after a brief courtship, on February 21st, 1956, in Crowell, TX. Together they would raise a family of two daughters and two sons, Barbara Anne, Sally Jane, Mike and Jim Brian. Sandy enjoyed a 30+ year career at Hillcrest Federal Credit Union in Tulsa, Oklahoma. When you meet her, you felt you had known her all of your life. She was never one to let the grass grow under her feet, so when she wasn’t working, she was sewing, quilting, cleaning and cooking. She came from a great stock, honest, hardworking and caring. She was an amazing woman who never ran out of energy, but continued with all the chores around her. She was an accomplished cook who loved trying new recipes and couldn’t wait until her family gathered for one of her holiday meals! She was proud of her job as wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother! Her family was always first and foremost. She was hard working and there wasn’t anything she couldn’t do. She was a devoted Christian and faithfully attended the First Baptist Church of Hulbert, OK. She lost her husband on November 23rd, 2001, and she kept close to the family she loved until her health began to fail. The Lord called this kind and dedicated servant home from her many labors on April 10th, 2022. She was 85 years old and leaves a legacy for her family to follow.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Jim, grandparents, mother, father, four brothers, Orville, Clifford, Henry, Tom (Blackie) White, and two sisters, Oleta Edwards and GayOla Luciano.

She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Barbara Anne Stuart and husband Greg of Wagoner, OK, Sally Jane Orcutt and Mark Tatum of Hulbert, OK, Mike Reagan of Hulbert, OK, Jim Brian Reagan and wife Buffy of Hulbert, OK. She also leaves her sister, Jeannie Reagan of Ft. Worth, TX. She will live on in her grandchildren, Jeremy Dale Orcutt, Juston Warren Orcutt, Hunter Reagan, Maggie Lee, Tanner Reagan, Regan Sly, Lauren Reagan, Abby Reagan and Lawton Reagan. There are also 11 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends and loved ones too numerous to mention.

Graveside services for Lena Faye White Reagan will be held on Friday, April 15th, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Hulbert IOOF Cemetery with Pastor Sam Keener officiating. Online condolences for her family may be left at www.reedculver.com.
