Leta "Ladybug" Gail Cleveland

Leta Gail Cleveland, or know as Ladybug by family and friends, was born on August 26, 1973 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, the daughter of Lola Mae (McCombs) Cheater and Ronnie Cleveland. She was raised in the Cherokee and Sequoyah County area along with her brother TJ and was later blessed with two sisters, Hylary and Stefanie. Leta went on to work for OPC and Bios as a caregiver of those with special needs, also holding other positions with Whitlock, Creek County Bonding, various accounting jobs and in the kitchen at local restaurants, alongside her mother. Her most cherished time was spent at holiday dinners and gatherings with the family. She loved to cook up a great meal and set around with those she loved, telling jokes and stories. Leta was outgoing and could light up a room with her wit and humor, never failing to put a smile on your face. She was creative and loved doing arts and crafts and anything she could put her hands to, making up different keepsakes and trinkets. She loved to crochet, color and had a huge collection of ladybugs and Minions. On Sunday, February 23, 2025 in Muskogee, Oklahoma, Leta passed from this life in peace with family by her side. She was 51 years old and will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and niece.

She has gone on to join her companion, Don Breeden, mother, Lola Mae, grandmothers, Lolita and Lois and grandfather, Thomas.

Her memory lives on through her three children, Jeremiah, Gunner and Josie and daughter-in-law, Sierra. She is also survived by one brother, TJ, sisters, Hylary and Stefanie, two uncles, George and James and two aunts, Barbara and Gail. She is lovingly remembered by her adored grandbaby, Evangeline. She also leaves her little dog and fur baby, Xena as well as many other friends and loved ones.

A time of visitation will be available on Wednesday, February 26, 2025 from 2:00pm until 6:00pm at Reed-Culver Funeral Home. Funeral services for Leta will follow on Thursday, February 27, 2025 at Reed-Culver Chapel with her father, Ronnie Cleveland officiating.
