Lloyd "Little Lloyd" Thomas Wilson Jr.

Funeral service for Lloyd Thomas Wilson Jr. will be held Friday, April 6th, 2018 at 2:00pm at the George Hopkins Field House at Okay High School with Brother Gary McElmurry officiating. Lloyd will be laid to rest at Park Hill Cemetery in Park Hill, Oklahoma. A Visitation will be held for Lloyd on Thursday, April 5th, 2018 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm at Reed-Culver Funeral Home. Serving as pallbearers for Lloyd include Matthew Aaron Feather Sr., Daniel Shane Terrell, Matthew Cole Pruegert, Alvie Dale Williams Jr., Joshua Bryan Tackett, Vincent Kelly Reynolds and Fred William Anthony Probst III. Honorary pallbearers include Michael Paul White, Michael Shane Laster, Rickey Leon Laster, Jr. and Larry Del Knudsen Jr.

Lloyd Thomas Wilson Jr. was born on April 28, 1980 in Tahlequah, Cherokee County, Oklahoma, son of Lottie Earlene (Winsett) Wilson and Lloyd Thomas Wilson Sr. He Departed this life on April 1, 2018 in Saint Francis Hospital Tulsa, Tulsa County, Oklahoma at 6:20pm. He was 37 Years, 11 Months, 4 days old. He graduated from Okay High School in May of 1998 and continued his education at Bacone College on a baseball scholarship. He went there three months and quit. After about six months, he tried again because he loved baseball and greatly wanted to play for the Major Leagues. He had numerous scouts looking at him with a chance to try out for the Texas Rangers. He had plans to attend the tryouts in Nevada, but was unable to go due to a family situation.

He is preceded in death by one nephew Cole Colt Pruegert of Okay, Wagoner County, Oklahoma, two cousins, Tina Faye Caudill and Casandra Michelle Winsett, maternal grandfather, Elmer Ray Winsett Sr. and paternal grandfather, Thomas Lloyd Wilson all of Tahlequah, Cherokee County, Oklahoma.

Lloyd leaves behind his parents Lloyd and Earlene Wilson, sister, Carol Earlene (Wilson) Arnett, two nieces, Savannah Shyanne Wilson and Serenity Ryonda Williams of Wagoner, Wagoner County, Oklahoma, sister, Samntha Sha (Wilson) Pruegert and Husband Matthew Cole Pruegert, three nieces, Sidney Renee Pruegert, Taylor Brooke Pruegert, Cameryn Nicole Pruegert all of Okay, Wagoner County, Oklahoma, ex-wives, Crystal Arnwine of Muskogee, Oklahoma, Priscilla Gail (Newton) Wilson, two children, Racey Rain Wilson and Rider Radley Wilson of Muskogee, Muskogee County, Oklahoma, ex-wife Jessica (Shindeldecker) Wilson, one son, Logan Lane Wilson of Wagoner, Wagoner County, Oklahoma, one girl friend, Brandi Kay Smith and her daughter, Brooklin Kay Smith and her son, Jaxson Dale Smith of Wagoner, Wagoner County, Oklahoma, one maternal grandmother, Carol Jean (Brown) Winsett of Morris, Okmulgee County, Oklahoma and one paternal grandmother, Beverly Jean (Noggles) Hayward of Florida as well as a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and lots of friends.

Lloyd lived life to the fullest, loved riding motor cycles with his buddies, having cook outs and enjoyed having people around. He loved baseball and the guys he played with, going to baseball games and taking his two older kids to them. He loved teaching his son Rider how to play ball, he enjoyed the game so much, especially with his son. He loved teaching his daughter, Racey, how to ride 4 wheelers and trying to show her how to jump off if she couldn’t stop. He loved doing so much with his kids. The 4th of July was his favorite holiday at our house. His Aunt Doris and Uncle Carl would always buy him the most awesome fireworks. Then he and his cousins, Rickey and Michael would invite his friends over to sometimes have a firework fights to see who could outdo one another. I could always see them setting each other on fire or getting burned. Thank goodness that never happened…we just had fun. We loved going boating and learning how to water ski with our first boat which was a jet boat. We had a rooster tail put on it one year and it shot out about 50 feet. Lloyd was on the skis and that rooster tail knocked him smooth off, causing him to do a flip in the water. I just knew he was hurt, but not him, he wanted more. He enjoyed being at the lake, with his friends on motor cycles or cars, it didn’t matter as long as they were having a good time. He became friends with everyone he met. He has helped us build pole barns for our Pole Barn Company, remodeled auto dealerships, sold vacation packages and done many odd jobs here and there. He also sold cars in Muskogee at a dealership. He had his hands in everything, but was a good builder and took pride in his work. He was a brother who looked out for his sisters; always tried to be their protector and give them advice even when they didn't want it. He was a jokester, always picking on his siblings most of the time, but in a loving way. There’s nothing he wouldn't do for them. He was a very loving uncle and had a special relationship with his nieces, picking on them, of course, and riding around our fields with them on 4 wheelers. He just enjoyed being with them. He had a love for old cars and looked forward to riding in our 69 SS Camaro until we sold it. He missed that car as much as we did. Our son will forever be missed and we will hold him in our hearts until we meet again. We love you from your mom, dad, sisters and nieces.
