Perry Euel Cain was born on January 22nd, 1948 in Tahlequah, OK, the son of Wilbur Neal and Lucinda Cain. There were eight brothers and sisters raised alongside Perry. He attended school and then began a career as a cross country truck driver for more than 40 years. Perry loved spending time around horses, so much so that he owned race horses. He also enjoyed trail riding, or at least setting around the camp fires, at Camp Gruber. He enjoyed time spent outdoors, camping and spending time with friends. Traveling was in Perry’s blood, perhaps this is why he enjoyed trucking. Hours spent on the road, seeing all the country, listening to music, and watching the scenery change was a good day for Perry. He was a loving son and father, who had three sons and daughters, all of them he was so very proud of, Lance, Brian, Josh, Christie, Amanda, and Jeri. He had a good sense of humor and was fun to talk with. In recent weeks, Perry began to have failing health, and he went to his Eternal rest on December 20th, 2014 at the age of 66 years, in Tahlequah, OK. He will be greatly missed by his family and his friends, all over the United States.
He is preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Diane Jones.
Those left to cherish his memory include three adored sons and three daughters, Lance Mulholland and wife Tonya of Qualls, OK, Brian Cain of Hulbert, OK, Josh Cain of Victoria, TX, Christie Vaughn-Kissinger and husband Richard of Eldon Community, Amanda Murray of Aurora, CO, and Jeri Breedlove and husband Jared of Jenks, OK.
