Shirley Marie Davis Green

Catoosa, OK- Graveside services for Shirley Marie Green will be held on Wednesday, July 24th, 2013 at 10:00 AM at Pettit Cemetery in Keys, OK with Pastor Lavona Ashlock of Little Rock House Church officiating. Services have been entrusted to Reed-culver Funeral home of Tahlequah, OK.

Shirley Marie Green was born on July 5th, 1955 in Wilson, OK the daughter of Travis and Juanita (Beck) Davis. She attended school at Enid High School. Shirley was a professional house keeper by trade and maintained homes for numerous clients over the years. In 1991, she married the love of her life, Gary Green and together they made their home in Catoosa, OK. Shirley was a varied and talented lady. Whenever she wasn’t working, Shirley enjoyed being at home working in her garden and raising beautiful flowers, crocheting or knitting. She loved the time spent with Gary and all of her extended family. She was always going out of her way to see to the needs of her neighbors and friends, of whom she had many. She had a warm smile and a loving heart and enjoyed her many friends. A Christian by faith, Shirley was a member of Rock House Church. The Lord called Shirley to her eternal home on Friday, July 19th, 2013 in Tulsa, OK. Shirley was 58 years old. She will be greatly missed for all the love she shared with her husband, family and friends.

Shirley is preceded in death by her mother, Juanita Davis in 2009, and her sister, Debbie Wolf in 2009.

Her memory will be cherished by those who survive her, husband Gary Green of Catoosa, OK, and her father, Travis and wife Thelma Davis of Enid, OK. She leaves one brother and one sister, Travis Allen Davis of Sulphur, LA and Devora Kay Davis of Enid, OK. She leaves three Uncles, Riley Beck of Wilson,OK, James Beck of MO, and Joe Dethloff and wife Joyce of Wilson, OK. Her Aunts include Vivian James of Wilson,OK, Geraldine Delano of Marlow,OK, Fern Willeby of Marlow, OK, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends and loved ones.
