

Pauline Hallmark was born on October 3rd, 1932 in Perry Grove, AR the daughter of Allen and Birdie (Bark) Hallmark. She had to leave her education behind to help the family survive the tough times of the depression and WWII. She was a mother figure to her four sisters. She was to later marry and raise a family of her own. She was proud of her children and chose to stay where she could be close by to raise them. Pauline loved nature and could communicate with the wildlife she encountered, as well as her many dog, cat and bird friends. She was also very talented with horticulture concerning naturally occurring herbs and plants. Her family was the most important thing in her life. She was talented with sewing and made beautiful clothes for her children and even matching outfits for their dolls. Pauline made the most wonderful biscuits, beans, wild onions and her homemade cakes were light enough to float. Pauline was quiet and contemplative. She was always happy to bring a little peace to her surroundings. She loved people and was always there for anyone who needed her support. A Christian by faith, Pauline was fond of Southern Gospel Music and Cherokee Hymns. She went home to her Lord on Monday, October 3rd, 2011 at her home with her family by her side. She was seventy nine years old this date. She has completed her circle of life and has left the world a better place for her presence here. She will be greatly missed by her many family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Birdie Sawney, her father Allen Hallmark, one brother, Marion Hallmark, her daughter, Wakie Darlene Deckard, and one great grandson, Aydin Michael Foutch.
