Stephanie Colleen Crawford was born on July 21st, 1948 in Maywood, CA, the daughter of Harry Kenneth and Rose Ann (Clevenger) Wagner. She grew up in a household as the oldest of two brothers and three sisters, Phillip, Jeff, Joy, Bethany, and Dawn. She attended and graduated from Nevada Union High School. While in school, she loved singing and belonged to a group. She then began beauty school and graduated with her certification. She married Finis Newton Crawford and she raised a family of three daughters, Debbie, Melissa and Hollie. She loved keeping her house a home for her children and grandchildren. She could quilt and sew, and enjoyed crafting a wide variety of items year round. Stephanie had a green thumb, and raised beautiful flower beds every year. Nature was always something that fascinated her and she never missed a chance to take her family camping and swimming. You knew you were in for a treat when she went to the kitchen, especially if she made her famous Chocolate Autumn cake, Pumpkin bars, Taco Soup and homemade biscuits and gravy, and she held a firm and fast rule there had to be at least one can of Ocean Spray Cranberry Jelly at Thanksgiving. She was kind, and big hearted, with a smile that lit up a room and a love for life that didn’t quit. There was nothing that made her happier than her grandchildren and their many accomplishments, she was their biggest fan. She was a Christian by faith, served the Lord all of her days, and was called home from her many labors on May 2nd, 2023, in Hulbert, OK, surrounded by those that loved her. She was 74 years old. She will be greatly missed for all the love she shared and the happiness she gave daily.
She is preceded in death by her father, Harry Kenneth Wagner, brothers-in-law, Sam Hull, Bobby Crawford and Harold Crawford, and one sister-in-law, Mary Hull.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband Finis Newton Crawford of the home in Hulbert, Ok, and her children, Debbie Crabtree of Muldrow, OK, Melissa Crawford of Hulbert, OK, and Hollie Crawford of Tulsa, OK. She leaves her brothers and sisters, Phillip Wagner and wife Cynthia of Lincoln, CA, Jeff Wagner of Grass Valley, CA, Joy Darr and husband Larry of Grass Valley, CA, Bethany Brennalt of Daytona Beach, FL, and Dawn Wagner of Bonners Ferry, ID. She will live on in her grandchildren, Steven and Amber Arrue, Joel Navarrete, Brissa (Navarrete) Bayless and husband Matthew Bayless Jr, Christopher Crawford, Sarah Crawford, Jacob Martin, Melissa Massengale, Justin Mitchell and Brianna Mitchell, as well as many great grandkids, nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends and loved ones too numerous to mention.
