Thomas Tom Marian Cooper

Tahlequah, OK- Funeral services for Thomas Marian Cooper will be held on Saturday, November 9th, 2013 at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Kansas, OK , with Pastor Terry Wofford officiating. The obituary will be delivered by Ned Phillips and Tom’s son, Michael, will deliver the eulogy. Interment will be held at Kansas Cemetery. Pallbearers for Tom include Tony Phillips, Roy Phillips, Ned Phillips, Allen Belding, Steve Lusk, and Paul Lusk. Honorary pallbearers include Brian Phillips, Chad Morrison, Casey Phillips and Jason Verbeck.

Thomas Marian Cooper was born on December 10th, 1934 in Chickasha, OK, the son of Jesse James and Geneva Levada (Etier) Cooper Tom worked as a maintenance mechanic for the National Can Corporation. He married the love of his life, Peggy Blanche Phillips, on April 17th, 1954, in Stockton, CA. This union was blessed with four children and 59 years of memories. When he wasn’t working, Tom was an outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing and camping. Traveling was a favorite pass time for Tom and his wife, anywhere from Oklahoma to Washington and Canada. Tom was a soft spoken gentleman who was very kind and generous to everyone. A Christian by faith, Tom was called to his eternal rest on October 23rd, 2013 in Tahlequah, OK, with his loved ones by his side. He was 78 years old. He will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.

Tom is preceded in death by his parents, one son, James Thomas Cooper; two sisters, Rosie Lee Martin and Mary Lucille Cooper, one granddaughter, Kaitlyn Nicole Pratt, one grandson, Daniel Joseph Pratt and one niece, Cindy Lee Martin

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Peggy Cooper of the home; three children, Marion Radosevich and husband Joseph of Prosser, WA, Jacqueline Pratt and husband Jeff of Benton City, WA and Michael Cooper and wife Kimberly of Cape Fair, Mo; two sisters, Margaret Jesse Speights of Stockton, CA and Geneva Mae Dvorak of Oklahoma City, OK. His legacy lives on in his ten grandchildren, Jeffery Pratt and wife Erin, Jesse George Cooper and wife Janelle, Joshua James Radosevich and wife Jessica, Jim Pratt, Jacob Edward Cooper, Michelle Frances Rush and husband Ben, Jennifer Lee McNutt, Benjamin Thomas Radosevich, Jordan Camille Pratt and Thomas Arthur Cooper as well as numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends and loved ones.
