

Kansas, OK- Graveside services for Tommy Price Perdue will be held on Tuesday, July 29th, 2014 at 2:00 PM at the Kansas Cemetery in Kansas, OK with Mr. Sam Andrews officiating. Tommy Price Perdue was born on March 21st, 1958 in San Jose, CA, the son of Nolen and Sue Perdue. Tommy grew up and graduated from Kansas High School in Kansas, OK. He began his working career in the steel construction industry. He was a talented man and was gifted at brick construction among other things. He was fascinated by anything mechanical and repaired anything he set his mind to. He was always reading books on technology and loved learning to improve his skills. On August 12th, 1979, he married his wife Retha Ehrlich in Leach, OK. This union was blessed with two adored daughters, Sasha and Tonya. Family life was the most important part of Tommy’s life. There wasn’t anything he wouldn’t do for his family and friends. He was always there when you needed help, or if you needed a friend to talk to. Any time spent in the company of his family was a good day for Tommy. He was so very proud of his grandson, Adam and delighted in the time they could spend together. Tommy’s health began to fail and he was called to his eternal home on July 23rd, 2014 in Tulsa, OK with his loved ones by his side. Tommy was 56 years old. He will be greatly missed for the love and friendship he shared with those who know him.
Tommy is preceded in death by his grandmother, Lorene Powers, and his father, Nolen Perdue.
Those left to cherish his memory include his mother, Sue Perdue also of Kansas, OK, loving wife, Retha Perdue and his daughters, Sasha Perdue and Tonya Friend and husband Fred Jr, all of Kansas, OK. He leaves four brothers and three sisters, Charles Perdue of Kansas, OK, Larry Perdue and wife Mardean of Leach, OK, Leon Perdue and wife Renee of Missouri, Scott Perdue and wife Tammy of Maysville, OK, Mary Johnson and husband JJ of Twin Oaks, OK, Lorene Murphy and husband Daryl of Tahlequah, OK, and Lora Ortega and husband Ray of Midwest City, OK. His legacy lives on in his very special grandson, Adam Ward Jr. of Kansas, OK, as well as his many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and a host of friends and loved ones.
