Travis Colin Grass was born on Friday, September 12th, 1969 in Claremore, OK, the son of Jackie Teague and Juanita Louise Grass. He was raised by his grandparents following the death of his beloved mother when he was 11 months old, attended school and then began his career working construction . He traveled all over the area, but always returned to the family he loved. He loved the outdoors, there was nothing better than a big campfire to rest by, while listening to his favorite rock and roll music. Travis was talented in his ability to build anything, just hand him the item and he could build it or fix it. He was happy to gather with his family especially if it included a good pork chop dinner. He was vibrant and out going, there was always a smile on his face, and he loved people. It didn’t matter if he knew you or not, you were his friend. He was a Christian by faith and attended the Baptist Church whenever possible. Travis passed from this life on Tuesday, June 19th, 2018 in Tahlequah, OK. He was 48 years old. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his mother Juanita, his father, Jackie, his grandmother Mary Ellen Grass and grandfather, Dick Grass, two aunts, Mary Grass and Eva Hall, two uncles, Charlie Grass and George Starr.
Those left to cherish his memory include his aunts and uncle, Jean Bolin and husband Donald of Bunch, OK, Patricia Alberty of Tulsa, OK, Tommy Grass of Spavinaw, OK, and a special cousin, Denise Grass of Tahlequah, as well as many more relatives, friends and loved ones.
