As we gather here today, we are united by the love and the profound sense of loss we all feel for a woman who touched our lives in ways words can hardly express. Grandma Wanda was a constant source of light and warmth in our lives, a force of nature whose energy and spirit were as boundless as her capacity to love. Also Boundless was her competitive anger for card games and dominoes.
Grandma Wanda was a woman of many talents and passions, but above all, she was a woman of extraordinary kindness and a Woman of God. Born in the small town of Braggs, she carried that sense of community with her throughout her life. Her heart was much like a hometown, welcoming and warm, a place where everyone felt loved and accepted.
This woman did not fear her death. She understood assuredly that as her earthly eyes closed her heavenly eyes would open to gaze upon glory for the first time. She realized that truth on January 1, 2024 at her home in Bunch, OK.
Funeral Services for Wanda will be held 1:00pm, Saturday, January 6, 2024 at Reed Culver Chapel in Tahlequah, OK with Bro. Terry Mayes officiating. She will be laid to rest at Park Hill Cemetery in Park Hill, OK.
Honorary pallbearers will be Ty Fountain, Ty Jr. "TJ" Fountain, Brandon Fountain, Matthew Readfearn, Tim Fountain, Ulas Redfearn, John Hess, John Redfearn, Cody Perry, Wyatt Camp, and Bradley Johnson.
