Audene Tina Hines

Audene Hines, 86, passed away at her home with her daughter at her side, November 12, 2014. She was born in Detroit, Michigan. Her parents William McPhee and Isabella Connell McPhee, both immigrants to the United States pre-deceased her. Her brother William A. McPhee also pre-deceased her. Her husband Edward R. Hines, married 59 years passed in 2001.They moved from Southgate, Michigan in 1957 to Cocoa, Florida. After her husband's retirement they moved to Tallahassee, Fl. She wanted to be closer to her daughter, Jane Mayo (David) and her grandchildren, Shawn Banks (Tonya) and Lori Gosnell (Scott). She enjoyed her sales position at JC Penney's at the Governor Square Mall for 10 years.Upon her retirement she began volunteering with the Tallahassee Memorial Auxiliary and made many dear friends. She loved living in Tallahassee and enjoyed all of the different seasons. Being closer to her family which also includes 5 great-grandchildren and 2 spoiled fur babies, Jack and Lacie made her proud and happy to enjoy time with each of them.She considered her grandchildren and great-grandchildren a great blessing and treasure. A memorial service will be held on Monday, November 17 at Culley's MeadowWood Funeral Home at 1737 Riggins Road with the family greeting friends at 10 am and the service at 11 am. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to be made to the Big Bend Hospice 1723 Mahan Center Tallahassee, FL 32308 and the Christian Motorcyclists Association 4435 Chaires Cross Rd. Tallahassee, Fl. 32317.
